Typically, R.T. Casey transfers a cable tank or cable reel at port prior to the start of a project.
Occasionally circumstances call for a cable transfer at sea. This can be due to schedule or
change in scope of work.
We coordinate with the other vessel regarding schedule, sea state, weather conditions, cable storage height, placement of cable rollers, positioning of vessels, mooring, vessel fendering, orientation of cable, location of splices, and manpower to insure a smooth and efficient cable transfer.
