2016 – SHORE END HDD & PLSE FOR FIBER CABLE
- Drill and Leave HDD at two (2) locations along the North Slope of Alaska using 5” ID pipe with flush through pipe joint connections with fiber optic cable pull-in after completion of the HDD.
- Chartered barge with RTC marine spread to bring equipment and materials to all three locations – no roads into locations.
- Provided dive activities to cut drill pipe offshore, pig pipe with messenger line and install bellmouth assembly to protect fiber optic cable during pull-in.
August 2016 - Pull in of fiber optic cable through HDD pipe to onshore Beach Manhole.
- Surface laid fiber optic cable to specific location for eventual cable ship.
- Offshore transfer of fiber optic cable from transport ship to cable lay barge.
- Marine vessel management for offshore ice.
